Bio…
I've been writing fiction since middle school, when, for some reason, I started imitating those Reader's Digest "Drama in Real Life" stories. These days my novels tend to revolve around a central love story with subplots or complications that can be absurd, paranormal, travelogue-ish, job-related, or more--and frequently cover several of those categories at once. I live in cool, damp Seattle with my family. I am mostly hopeless at interior decorating and sewing; and I worship chocolate, plants, and fragrances.

My name is Missy Jane and I’m a writer born and raised in Texas. I’ve always been a reader, but it wasn’t until a few years ago that I sat in front of my computer and decided to write. My first book is a fantasy novel that remains unpublished as I continue to edit it…over and over again. When not reading or writing I love to photograph my beautiful daughters and boss around my husband of fourteen years.
